This website is the most useful one I have come across- it has been supported by the government and made by professionals. Each week new videos and work are added to support you and your child with learning from home.
Choose:

- Choose Year 1 or Year 2

Each day there is new learning. Enjoy and let me know if you need any support or help.

THIS IS ME!

Our topic this half term is all about you. It will be predominantly science focused- looking at the human body and comparing ourselves to animals, however we will also be looking at where we live, friendship and learning about the Islam faith.

English

To start off our new book 'Parts' we played body part bingo, Simon says and sang 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes'.

Wonderful Homework

(more pictures will be added each week)

Thank you for the wonderful homework you have brought into school so far. It has been lovely seeing and hearing about all the lovely things the children have been doing at home. We can wait to see what you bring into school next week :)

Sense walk

On Thursday we went on a walk around school using our senses. Our senses are touch, hear, smell, see and taste. We heard lots of noises such as buzzing bees, fast cars and even an aeroplane! We went into forest school and saw a scurrying beetle and a huge spider!

Andy Warhol

We have been learning about Andy Warhol and repeated patterns. Today we made our own art work in the style of Andy Warhol and compared our hand prints.

Body parts

In Science we are learning about our body parts. We sang'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes', played Simon says then labelled a child... it was lots of fun!!!
